Infant Baptism

Picture of the pope “baptizing” an infant

How does this picture of infant baptism reflect believers baptism?

Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
(Romans 6:3)
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
(Romans 6:4)
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
(Colossians 2:12)
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(Romans 10:9)

    Amen, Brandon.

Welcome to the Blogisphere! As for a church home may I recommend a local church of Christ that has “Life Groups”, or some structured small group weekly meetings at members homes–as well as weekly assemblies together for ther whole church?

For instance, the Prestoncrest congregation has an active small group ministry: (I just looked the up) and of course are a bible based group of Christians only who practice believer’s baptism.

Congrats on your baby daughter–get some sleep.

    take care,
    God bless,
